Problems with sound and Ipod library transfer

I am having a problem with the sound from the player. The track shows that it is playing but it is not. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, updated to gold, and restarted many times. I also cannot find my music thru MM on my ipod. It shows me some of the tracks but they are all greyed out and the other 700 tracks do not show up at all. They did the first time that I connected the ipod but now they will not show up. Suggestions please!!

Are you using MediaMonkey for Metro (MM8) or MediaMonkey for Windows (MMW)? Also which version number are you using?
