refresh tag DB in Win8.1 App version?

I searched and found this thread but see no similar option in the App version:

am I missing it somewhere?

I noticed the Genres were a mish-mash in my local/laptop Library, so I used Mp3tag to fix them, closed and restarted MM, rebooted, no help, still shows old genres.

Do you try scanning the files again?

yes (re-scan).

a couple of times, actually, with a couple of reboots in between.
