MM8 /RT crashes when serach contains an Apostrophe (hex 27)

I have many songs where the title contains an Apostrophe (hex 27, dec 39, e.g. It's all over now). When I enter an Apostrophe character into the search field and hit enter, MM crashes. When I avoid typing an Apostrophe and search for other parts of the title, the search results do show titles that contain an Apostrophe but as soon, as I click on one of those, MM crashes also. Makes searching and playing those songs cumbersome.
