Syncing Tablet - Lame_enc.dll Can't Be Loaded

Post by jmac_the_man »

Hey all,

I recently upgraded my tablet, phone, and laptop to the latest versions of MediaMonkey. My phone still syncs fine, but my tablet generates an error on my PC when I try to sync it. Every time I try to sync, I get an error in MMW that says "Error:Lame_enc.dll can't be loaded." When I click OK, it pops up again immediately. This happens on both wired and wireless sync.

I am using MMW Gold 4.1.3.1708 and MMA Pro 1.0.6.0287.

My phone is a Galaxy S4, which of course is subject to the new restrictions on the SD card, which came with Android version 4.2.2. I got my phone syncing fine in May with the then-current versions of MediaMonkey. Syncing my phone still works fine.

My tablet is a Galaxy Note 3, which was just updated to 4.2.2. The SD card restrictions are new on that device, but I have the paths set exactly the same, so there's no good reason for the phone and tablet SD card to be different.

I'd appreciate whatever help you guys can give.

Reinstall on top of existing version.
