MMA deleted videos on sync w/o confirmation - retrieve?

First, thanks for MMW, best tool for my large collection.

I tried MMA with my new G700 and enabled autosync to device including "delete other files" and left confirm deletion checked.
However, after the sync (intended on SD card) all videos in internal storage are GONE. (And blame me for not having saved them ). In my perception MM is still for music.
However, there was no confirmation - neither on Win nor Android. May be a bug or I missed anything else.
Furher, you might want to give a more bolder warning to users.

Is there a way to retrieve the videos (without paying 60€ to Dr.Fone)?

Did you check with a file browser that the files are gone? There may be data recovery apps which normally work as long as the file locations on the storage haven't been overwritten by other files.

Did you do a wifi or USB sync and which versions of MMA and MMW are you using?

Hi, I used USB sync. So, it may not be a WWA issue.
Video dir is empty and I didn't find a resonable cheap way to retrieve them.
The version are in my signature.

USB sync would mean that MMW would ask about file deletion. USB sync can only sync the storage you set to sync. I've not seen it fail to prompt deleting files.
