Can crossfade time be adjusted?

I like the crossfade feature, but is there a way to change the crossfade time? I see that this feature is still beta, so will this feature be enhanced in the release?

We hope to improve this in v2.x--though the change is actually very significant as it involves changing to a custom audio engine (instead of using the Android audio engine).
