Just got my phone. Able to sync mm to mma. Tried playing a song after connecting to car stereo via Bluetooth. Song plays but no info is displayed. Stereo is Kenwood ddx492. Phone is Moto x4 running Oreo.
For testing downloaded vlc and played a song from the same library and all info song/length/artist etc displayed correctly.
No song names or any info on car stereo

I've also had this since my OnePlus 5 got the Oreo update.
Spotify is also affected, but that will sometimes show the information. MMA never shows the song info since Oreo.

Re: No song names or any info on car stereo
The car makes a difference too. I have this issue on a 2011 Toyota Avensis but a 2013 Toyota Yaris shows the metadata correctly every time.
Re: No song names or any info on car stereo
Since the metadata displays correctly using other apps that rules out several possibilities such as
Bluetooth version compatibility
Stereo compatibility
Android compatibility
It has to be mma. Some setting. The only thing I can think of is it has something to do with how mma is processing the metadata but I can't find a setting to vary how they are processed. For a little more info all songs are mp3 320 bitrate originally managed by iTunes. Maybe I need to use a different setting for tags on mm for windows? Before syncing?

Re: No song names or any info on car stereo
I have the same problem, spotty track info from MMA to other devices bt BT. Happens on multiple phones with multiple cars on multiple continents. Amazon and Google music apps have no problem. If I switch from Amazon to MMA, usually the track info from the last song streamed from Amazon stays on the car screen. Sometimes, very rarely, track info will work for a few tracks, but usually doesn't. Any insights?
