Can I use my Android device for my MMW library

Post by toysintheattic82 »

Rather than having to always sync everything, which is often glitchy, can I just use the microSD card in my phone as the place where my MMW music library is stored? Will changes I then make on MMW show on my phone (new songs, playlists) without having to sync? Thanks.

Do you mean the MMW database and use it in MMA too? Or are you trying to store the MMW media files on the SD card in the phone?

I want the MMW library to use the same SD card that I am currently syncing the songs to. Rather than sync to the card, can I just use the card for the MMW library? And if I do, will those files show and work the same way they do now on the device without syncing?

No, MMA would then have to rely on the Android Media Scanner to pick up changes which doesn't pick up all the tags.

If you have sync issues:

Make sure you're up-to-date on both report any issues that remain so the developers can try to solve.
