Hi everyone!
Just installed the latest version (1.3.4, build 842) on my Pixel 2XL and copied many folders with FLAC files from my comp
when I refresh the library, most of them do not appear at all!
Never had this issue before so was wondering if anyone encountered this also.
Tried reinstalling , but that didnt help
oh, the folders/files are available in files explorer and when I locate the file, it can be played in MM so Im a bit confused
any ideas?

You have copied using windows explorer files from the PC to the phone? You can forget that.
You have to do that over the synchronization out of MMW. See my settings. With my mobile phone HUAWEI mate 20 pro also .flac files in MMA are visible and playable.
Look: MMW / extras / options / external devices - mark your mobile phone and then "configure"
