Some songs are not appearing in my MMA library, but they do appear in my desktop MM library when my phone is connected via USB, as though they exist in the phone's files; just not present in the app itself.

I have the newest version of both the app and desktop program, and I have not attempted wifi syncing; it's always been synced via USB.

No, from the home screen use the Folders option. If it isn't showing go to menu > Personalize to enable it showing on the MMA home screen.

Yes, I am able to access the Folders location. I looked in both the Library and Files, but do not see the missing songs.

Can you access files with folder explorer? Can you please create screenshot of folder browser root and one where files reside along with steps how you browsed to them?

Hello, I can access the files with file explorer. The strange thing is that some of those files are showing in mm, and some aren't, they're all in the same root folder (SD card > music). I can't think of any reason why some are in mm, but the majority aren't?
