Yes, no value is seen as a "value" when it comes to forming Albums. MediaMonkey needs to construct the concept of Albums from other tags as there isn't a tag indicating which other files belong to the Album.

So all files with Album value x and no Album Artist value would be considered 1 Album. All files with no Album and no Album Artist would be considered 1 Album.
