Uninstall to clear database?

I am currently over-hauling my entire music collection on MMW which will result in remving all the tracks from it and adding them back. But, as I had to for MMW previously clear the database, is there a way to do the same for MMA? Or will I need to uninstall it, reboot my phone and add MMA back so everything is clean and fresh?
