EventGhost_0.3.6_build_1154_Update.exe is only update.
At first you must install last setup (actual: EventGhost_0.3.6_build_1141_Setup.exe).
EventGhost_GDIPLUS_Installer.exe is not need (only for Windows 2000).

I think, that EG isn't well installed.
I advise:
1) uninstall EG
2) erase contents directories C:\Program Files\EventGhost
3) erase contents directories %APPDATA%\EventGhost
4) install EventGhost_0.3.6_build_1141_Setup.exe
5) install EventGhost_0.3.6_build_1154_Update.exe

I think I found solution:
1. If I do like you said and then start EventGhost I got Error
2. If I do it this way (all goes well):
a) uninstall EG
b) erase contents directories C:\Program Files\EventGhost
c) erase contents directories %APPDATA%\EventGhost
d) install EventGhost_0.3.6_build_1141_Setup.exe
e) Start/Lunch EverGhost
f) install EventGhost_0.3.6_build_1154_Update.exe

There is Bug evidentially

I must say that it is nice app, but I'll not use it as I already have all that I need in Girder (for other Apps than MM) and I would need to change lots of things in my OS setup to migrate to EventGhost.
But being free and filled with features it is nice app for begin with.

Yes. This now works flawlessly. Very nice!

I'm using this together with Samurize to control MM from another computer.

I'm wondering, is it possible to send the track info of "now playing" to the computer I use to control MM?

I got 2 computers 1 and 2. 1 got MM installed and all my music on the harddrive. 2 have samurize installed and controls computer 1 by local network. Can computer 1 send track info to computer 2?

EDIT

Fixed it. A script now outputs the info to a txt file which is then shared on the network. Samurize then reads from this textfile. That's it. :-)

Best regards.

I'm loving Eventghost. I can't believe how easy it is to use out of the box and your script is awesome. I am elated that I came across this thread.

Got a question for you. Using the various "Get Info" actions in EG for something like "Basic Artist Info" and choosing several track details and outputting that info to the OSD is not presented really well.

Example:

Track Name,Artist Name,Album Name,Year
Slow Down,Loose Ends,Zagora,1990

Can you change the formating of the resulting output to something like

Slow Down - Loose Ends - Zagora - 1990

I think this is a better presentation. Much easier to read.

Also, I have my Firefly remote setup to set ratings and then output the new rating to the OSD. The outputted text on the OSD displays the MM database value which is in the range of 0-100. Is there a way to get the MM DB results and divide by 20 so the OSD result ranges from 0-5?

Thanks
