Last.fm plugin please?

wondering if anyone can develop one of these please... shouldn't be too challenging for the more seasoned developers out there...
they have a software that can detect what you are listening to and it's updated on your last.fm profile... great really and compatible (out of the box or via plugins) with every known audio player out there (and a handful i've never heard of before...)
i only use MM and it'd be great if this was developed so us hardcore MM users could update or last.fm listening list with the stuff we've actually been listening to!
