he might be one. but he is in ill health and i did not know that.
so i do want to say here that i won't call him that anymore,
and i wish him well, i don't like anyone to be in ill health.

Re: steve jobs steps down from control of apple
I think rumours of Steve Jobs' ill health might be a little premature:
http://www.itnews.com.au/News/92099,ste ... mours.aspx"Steve Jobs has announced that his weight loss is due to a hormone imbalance, rather than the resurgence of pancreatic cancer, and has insisted that he has no plans to step down as Apple chief executive." (ITnews 06/01/2009)

I think things are worse than he originally thought they'd be...Nebbin wrote:I think rumours of Steve Jobs' ill health might be a little premature:

http://www.engadget.com/2009/01/14/stev ... -to-healt/Apple has issued a statement saying that Steve Jobs is taking a leave of absence due to health reasons. Steve Jobs sent out a letter to Apple employees today saying that his previously-explained health problems are "more complex" than he at first thought...
Let's hope he's able to regain his health.

oh cripes... I guess I'm more out of date than I thought I suppose I'll have to start reading Engadget as well now.
So yeah, I hope he's OK.

lol - it does sometimes seem to take a while for certain news to filter down under. The Australian IT news web-column (the one linked in my earlier post) still has nothing about this new development. *sigh*
