That's great review. The title kind of pushed me back a bit though. "..Confessions of an mp3 Addict"? I mean who would listen to mp3 nowadays?

The majority of people as the majority of people can't distinguish quality difference beyond a decent bitrate MP3.

You have no choice if you use an Ipod, which I do.

Well, the issue comes down to what readers recognize. Saying "Confessions of an mp4, ogg or flac addict" wouldn't do well for search engines, thus not rate as highly for SEO value and decrease readability. I assume that when I say mp3 the informed reader will take that I'm simply using the lowest common denominator and that yes, there are options out there. And that the layman will understand what MM does.

Though you bring up a good point. Perhaps the article could include the fact that MM will read/tag/etc. other file formats as well.

Thanks for reading!

It's not a new review but MediaMonkey Standard is on CNET's Top Downloads for students: Back-to-school downloads.
Even more, it's rated 5 stars in CNET Download.com Windows Starter Kit.

Cheers!
