MM5: slow startup sometimes

normally MM5 needs about 2 seconds to start which is very fine but sometimes it needs about 8 seconds to start and it seems to be totally arbitrary (nothing was changed to prior startup)

We'll look into it anyway, but could you try to capture a debug log of the issue on your machine?
