File monitor...

Post by skrutm »

I can't find File Monitor option.

I'd also like to specify File Locations for my Custom Collections:
- Music is on that Directory
- Music Videos are on that Dir.
- Home Videos are there...

It is possible to differentiate Music And Videos accordint to format, but it's not possible to automatically catalog Videos to different Collections just by the format.

File monitor is accessible via Add/Re-scan dialog.

I guess this is doable by combination of these conditions:
Media is ....
Path/Filename contains ....
when specifing the collection criteria.

We are also working on way to improve Type detection and type classification that will allow more detailed collections like you want natively.
