for a few weeks i examine a behaviour of the MM5 alphas which i cannot reproduce in all cases, but i like to bring it on the table here. Sometimes MM5 does not show the 'extended tags' of flac files, which can be seen by mp3tag or idtag (dbpoweramp). In the majority of the cases i notice it the encoder was flac 1.2.1. Unfortunately only few of my flac files have the encoder version as a tag, so i cannot say more in the moment.
When i remember it in the right way i found some files which were encoded by an alpha version of the flac encoder (1.3), which showed the same behaviour within MM5.
When the mentioned other programs are able to list all 'extended tags' i am sure that MM5 will be capable to do the same in the near future
