Why don't you write all rather in .NET with Xamarin UI for Mac and finally release version 5.
It seems this Javascript won't be finished in decades!

Hi,
We though about that when we thought about what is better for next MM version, but Javascript worked better in our tests.

Also please keep in mind that MMW is 17 years old and it is hard to rewrite complete app along with keeping accumulated features in new version as much as possible.
