Snyc Misreads Size of Removable Drive

Post by Asect » Sat Mar 23, 2019 3:55 pm

After Syncing a Samsung SSD T1 Removable Drive MM5 Misreads the Size of the Drive by Showing an Audio Used Portion of 150GB and an Other Used Portion of 150GB. There is Only an Audio Portion of 150GB. The Attached Images Demonstrate the Behavior. Thank you.

Hi, isn't this just that in course of testing of https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 30&t=94120
you deleted (re-newed) the device profile and/or fresh installed MM5 (or deleted the meta files on the device) and MM now thinks that the 150GB of content (already synced to the device by the previous MM instance) wasn't synced by MM and isn't the audio to be synced?

I guess that after the first synchronization the size is corrected?
Supposing that you haven't changed the target locations for the audio files?

I believe you are correct. After syncing device a couple of times, the size now reads correctly. It was confusing that the correction did not occur after the second sync, but after the third (or fourth?) the issue did correct. Thank you.
