Importing CD Property Issues

Post by Asect »

Importing CD worked without issue. After the import, many issues in changing properties. Once entering the properties window and updating entries, MM5 takes a great amount of time to write properties (15 to 30 Seconds per Track Over 14 Tracks)...then the Callstack Violations and finally the dreaded white screen. Must use Task Manager to shut down MM5. Also, the initial chosen sorting (Artist by Album) reverts to sorting by Album upon reopening MM5. Please see the attached screenshots that exhibit the behavior. Callstack violations sometimes send via internet, sometimes will not. The Callstack violations sent were 59D1A0BE - 2FA4A0BE I believe. Thank you.

Hi,
I am Unable to replicate in 2173 are you using 2173?

To confirm:
1. Insert Audio CD
2. Add to Library
3. Eject CD
4. Edit properties
5. Change sorting By album (?)
Best regards,

The freeze logs (59D1A0BE, 2FA4A0BE) are from 2170.
Please try with 2173 (as there have been fixed the issues related to mass edit).
Also, if the issue is still present for you in 2173 then please try to install 2173 to another folder and give another try whether it has an influence?

Ludek,

2173 seems to be working much better with a large database. I apologize that the update to 2173 wasn't noticed before the import issues. For now, I would mark this as resolved. Thank you.
