There is something wrong with the events that configure the non-Browser view windows. ... The following window panel components are missing sometimes; horizontal scroll bar & footer showing file count etc.
Situation #1: The horizontal scroll bar sometimes obscures the footer which displays trackCount|storageSix|duration etc
this happens after a new install ... it affects the top level display, when in List or Album&Tracks view, of every node in the Media Tree
* open a node for the first time ... it will be in Browser view mode ... switch to List or Alum&Tracks view, there is no footer

* switch to sub node of this same node, like AllTracks or Albums etc ... the footer now appears

The node will now be OK ... unless you navigate back to the top of its sub nodes, and switch to Browser view ... and then close MM ... in this case the footer will be missing again when you restart MM
Or if you go back up to Browser view ... then change to another top level mode in the Media Tree, and then return back to the node you came from, and then switch from Browser view, to List or Album&Tracks ... again the footer is AWOL.
Situation 2: the horizontal scroll bar goes missing when the panel height is reduced too much

but it disappears if I reduce the window height a little bit more ... happens in List and Album&Tracks view ... the file size footer is missing also
