F8 = Expands Artist Node
F9 = Expands Album Node
F10 = Expands Genre Node
F11 = Expands Year Node
It would be VERY VERY useful if pushing for example F8 again collapsed the Artist Node instead of having to press F7 to collapse the whole tree then having to go back to Playlists (or any custom node for that matter)
My 2 cents that would make alot of difference to me

Hopefully in MM3 - would be such a nice (and relatively simple) addition.

I didn't actually know you could do this, but now I do a toggle would certainly be more useful!

Re: Shortcut keys that expand AND collapse individual nodes
But for now you can use the standard Windows keys to do it:eagle4ever wrote:It would be VERY VERY useful if pushing for example F8 again collapsed the Artist Node instead of having to press F7 to collapse the whole tree then having to go back to Playlists (or any custom node for that matter)
[+/-] keys: Expand/Collapse from the current location. (You can use the keys on the num pad).
[Right/Left] keys: [Right] is same as [+] but will move right to next child in the node. [Left] is the reverse of [Right]: it will collapse current child (first stroke) and move up the its parent in the tree (second stroke).

Yes I sometimes use this method, works but still not "the bomb"Eyal wrote:But for now you can use the standard Windows keys to do it:
