I tried that and it works when the auto-search function works. If I load a CD and it can't auto find it then the "Get Album info from FreeDB" does not work either; it returns the error message "No Audio CD found". When it's in this mood every CD I put in the drive returns this error message. But if I wait it out like I said earlier everything starts working again.

I confirmed it's not my CD drive as I can still rip the CD, just can't get any tag info.

I'm wondering if freedb is throttling access...

It sounds like it is something on the FreeDB side.

Adding a freedb button to the rip audio cd dialog... Is this impossible for some reason? It does not always work automatically and you have to exit the dialog in order to get to the menu selection currently.
