Windows 10 Modern Standby

Like all "desktop app" the Windows version of MM stops playing when the screen goes off on a Windows 10 device with "Modern Standby" (previously "Connected Standby" in WIndows 8 ).

It would be good if MM could keep playing after the screen goes dark. I saw that there was a Windows 8 Metro app that was withdrawn a couple of years ago, so obviously a start was made. Has this been abandoned, or is there something in the pipeline?

Hi,
Main problem with modern apps is that Microsoft abandoned them in Win 10. Even they work they are not supported/encouraged anymore. MM Modern version is not abandoned but rather stalled for a moment till Microsoft decide on modern apps future and course of development.

Full player support in standby mode is on our to do list for MM5.
