Down mixing to mono; sending to one channel only

Post by stuiji »

Hi,
Is there any way to:
1 - downmix a stereo signal in MM to mono?
2 - send that signal to just either the right or left channel in my laptop's headphone socket

Looking to use this function in conjunction with a dj splitter cable and another music player (FB2K or MM 2nd instance) so I can pre listen while another playlist is running for an audience with both signals outputing from me laptops headphone socket.

I can recreate this in Fbar2k with adding "Downmix channels to mono" and "Channel Mixer" DSPs but the MM library and search function I find so much faster and user friendly than other programmes, it'd be perfect for cueing up the next tune in a set if I could just downmix the signal and route it to one channel, (R or L)

Don't know if anyone else would see the value in this??

No, unfortunately, MMW can't split outputs, For that I use balance control in MMW.
