Album Art View Show All tracks [F3992]

Post by EliteXen »

Is there a way to force MM to always show all tracks while in album art view, not just 7 at a time.

or at least a button in the header to expand / collapse all.

- one for expanding/collapsing letter categories and one for expanding collapsing album listings.
...without these buttons.. the collapsible letter feature doesn't achieve the extra efficiency it's designed for.. (It's far easier to scrolldown to find something then to collapse everything above it manually)

Ok, added to our to-do list. Although, we have to decide how to implement it in a user-friendly way...

I have already been "promised" this by Rusty, but great that also other users want this feature. IMO it should be enabled in the Options-dialog.
Best regards,

I agree placing it in the Options dialog would be best. This is what keeps me from using album view currently. I don't really know what any of my album covers look like, i don't really even know track names. To me it's all just a eye-candy / convenience. I choose songs to play either by Genre, Artist, Rating, or a combination.

Ahh, I guess it didn't make it in the A7 release, (keeps fingers cross for A8 ) :)

I agree with this, after much playing around with Album Art view this would work the best.

Also, it would great if we could add a few more columns in AA view. Not all of them, mainly the important ones like Genre and the 5 Custom columns.

Thank you

Am I overlooking the option or did it not make it to A8?

Still didn't make it to B2? Is it not possible, or does it involve more than a simple fix?

I think it will be good in the options dialog so you can change the default, but I personally hope there is a button just next to each album cover to expand all or collapse all... because it is something I would switch between constantly.
