Request: Search status

Post by KEP » Mon Oct 01, 2007 4:35 pm

Maybe I'm missing some "obvious" UI element, but I still don't see anyway to know whether a search has finished. Is there any way to know that I have all the results I'm going to get? If not, am I the only one who'd kinda like to know?

Thanks...

MM is just so fast that this isn't needed :)

Seriously...good point. I'll add this to the todo list.

The new DB literally screams compared to the old one, I'll grant ya that!

Very cool. All that's really needed is a "Searching..." cue of some sort. No need for actual progress% indication.

Thanks!

A good indication would be a throbber (like the one in FireFox) that would stop when the search is finished.

Note: it'll probably be in 3.01 (not 3.0).
