Build 1.4.1.500 has a minor bug in which artists (and likely other properties) beginning with 'ch' appear in the tree (sub to the Artists node) out of order; they appear following artists beginning with 'h' rather than in correct alphabetical order.
For a workaround to correct this problem, click:
'File' | Update Library and select [x] Compact Database
Once the database is compacted, Artists will appear in the tree in the correct order.
This issue will be fixed during the beta period.
