I found that I could open the .mmip with 7-zip, and just extract the .msz file in the archive to the \mediamonkey\skins directory of the portable installation.

Reason for that is that MMIP is simply ZIP file renamed to MMIP so that Windows and MMW knows it is intendent and packed as install package.

"Drag MMIP into player" Yay! Thank you! I've been playing with permissions and could not get MMIP to install. You're a genius
