[1411] Play Randomly Stops [#8178]

This has been happening for several builds but I do not know what is triggering it but playing will randomly stop playing. Here is a debug log, at the end is where the playing stopped. This has happened both on my work and home computers:http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13254132/play%2 ... opping.LOG

It has references for hotkeys though I am not sure what hotkeys it is referring to, but I do use ESC, F9 and F8 for my work program. Could that be interfering??

I am not sure what triggers it, I am trying to narrow it down, but I think it might be linked to the hotkeys. I say this because when I use the hotkeys at work the behavior starts, but I am still trying to test it to figure out if that is what is causing it. It happens more on my work computer where I use hotkeys more, but it has happened on my home computer but not as frequently. The only hotkey I use alot at home is F6, at work I use F9, PGDWN and ESC alot.

Hi,

I'm having the same issue, that playing random stops. Usually after 5-6 numbers.
The only application running on the machine is MediaMonkey. I'm not touching the computer at that moment.
This happens on Windows XP, and Vista, with almost all the latest beta builds, and in 4.0.01414 as well.

I get this on 1413 as well. This mainly happens if I'm trying to sync my iPod at the same time, but occasionally just by itself, so I wondered if it's CPU related?

Please accompany any bug report with a debug log, preferably with a brief description, e.g. at what time of the debug log playback failed, etc.

Here is a log where the playback stopped, it is all the way at the end of the file: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13254132/playback%20stopped.LOG I had not been doing anything in MM, the only thing I can think of is the cpu is busy processing a command from another program, maybe that is what interferes with MM. Just guessing though.

Thanks for the log! Please try it again when the next build, there will be some changes and more debug messages added (so a new log then would help).

Hi,

Haven't created nor attached a debug log (yet), but after playing three songs with the latest build (1420) on Windows XP, the playing stops.
So the problem is still persistent in this build.

update: I used the debug version, and each time that the music stopped playing (5 times already today) it sent out a debug message to you guys. Hope this helps, this is a major bug in my opinion...

Please, include the build number for each log (at least in case the log isn't from the very start of MM, when build number is included automatically). Also more details would help, e.g. what _exactly_ did happen and the timestamp of the problem in the log. Although it means more writing, sometimes even of redundant information, it makes analyzing easier and more likely to succeed.
