Default Album Art

Post by defk3000 »

Switching between a skin that has the default Album art modified to one that doesn't leaves the modified default album art and not the unmodified version.

I can recreate it by going from the Eclipse skin to the Cafe Mocha 5b skin.

i think the reason is because the default no album art image is overwriten by the new no album art image in the windows prefitch cache. if you restart the computer with out changing the image your self. then restart monkey
can you get the orginal default no album art image when you check it again, or is the modified image of the other skin still showing.

:-?

if you still get the modifed one then try clearing the cache when you restart the computer and see if you get rid of the modifed one then. :) :-?

The skin has left NoAArt.png and NoAArtNew.png. I'm not sure in which folder under Program Files/MediaMonkey. It might be the icons folder. Just delete/move/rename them and then restart MediaMonkey.

isnt that only for mm 3.0.7 and older versions of monkey lowlander?

i thought the new mm 3.1 version was going to keep the no album art images in the skin mskn file and show them from there.?
or is that not going to happen in 3.1 :o

I don't know, but user might actually be using MediaMonkey 3.0 as 3.1 is still in beta.

Greetings

I think defk3000 install the eclipse icon pack and this creates a iconsfolder in the MM directory,
so he got 2 opportunities:
1:Go to > Tools/Extensions/and uninstall the Eclipse IconPack
or
2:go to \Program Files\MediaMonkey\Icons\ and delate NoAArt.png and NoAArtNew.png.

Normal Eclipse mmip's don't create icon folders just the iconpack.

and yes since MM3.1 we can bundel the NoAArt.png's with the skinfile

Sorry I didn't come back and check on this one. I was using one of the beta 3.1, which ever was the latest at the time I posted. I haven't tried switching skins lately so I haven't checked to see if the problem is still there.
