Adding 2 disks corrupts database and can't be fixed

Post by terryo »

I tried to add two albums to MMW 4.1.13.1801 and received this message:

There was a problem querying the database:
Could not retrieve data "SELECT *
FROM Songs WHERE Songs.Date.Added>42552.2083333333 ORDER BY Songs.DateAdded DESC
":database disk image is malformed (11,11)

Followed instruction found in forums on deleting database to clear corruption. Deletion hung on a similar message. Tried to reload playlists and now all of them are blank.

What the hell do I do try next?

The message preventing me from clearing the database is:

There was a problem querying the database:
Error executing SQL statement "DELETE FROM SongsText
":database disk image is malformed (11, 11)

All the music is present and searchable but without my playlists, doing my weekly radio show will be much more difficult.

Arrrgh!

Hi,
Just go and physically delete MM.DB from your [User]\Appdata\Roaming\MediaMonkey folder and you will be ok.
