Error message and MM failure

Post by Doocey222 »

When I attempt to rip a CD, sometimes it works but more often it doesn't. The problem seems to center on whether MM can access FreeDB or not.

I get the following Windows-based error message, and when I do, MM says it is copying/converting the CD, but actually doesn't.

The message reads as follows: "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. (FreeDB?) Please install a program or, of one is already installed, create an association with the Default Programs control panel."

I have made MM the default, but the problem persists.

Can anyone help?

Which version of MediaMonkey and during what step of the Rip process do you see this error?
