Here Is the final Mellon skin,with overwork iconset ,and special players/Infopopup
this skin is inspired by first screenshots from Win8 and the Omnia Rainmeter skin !

I try to give things more space ,
and made a big Horz microplayer (40x300pix)
and a bigger Vert microplayer (160x160pix) with AlbumArt,
for the win7 taskbar,
and use the Segoe UI light font for player and Infopopups,
this means the skin will only work correct on win7 systems and need a large screen!

Finally a microplayer that won't look out of place in Win7. I was hoping for this since a long time.

Could you also make the tracklist, tree, ... in Calibri and the headers in Segoe Ui.
That way it would be a total Win7 look.

looks good so far. imo the iconset does not look that bad with this one.

just a couple questions about that tabs: is this the final design of the tabs? i think the "chrome" design as in the m-plexx skin look better...
is it possible to make the tabs colourful? that's what i mean: http://www.binaryturf.com/free-software ... r-firefox/

Headers use already Segoe Ui,
for the tracklist, tree, ... i must look if it works ,i think the font high can be a problem here

well i prefer a square design on this skin ( more windows like,(round corners makes to much trouble ))
i use 3 different colors for inactive ,hot and active ,
and the active tab have gradient to match the controlbar!
at the moment it looks like this:

1.tab =unselect
2:tab =select
3.tab =hot

ahh. this looks good!

I really like this one. I love the colours and the layout. Think this will be the skin I 'll use for MM4. Keep up the good work DreadM!

Ok, here is a first version to test,
Skin called now "Mellon"

i think player's are finish,
for final release i want overwork a bit the icons,
also theme file have to be clean up !
Theme colors also finish, but let see what you think about!

DreadM, nice work on the skin as usual, however im a bit torn with the looks.

I think the buttons and layout look really cool however I really dislike the bright blue. It just looks like using Windows XP running on Windows 7. However the videoplayer colour looks snazzy and if you used that colour for the whole skin it would match up perfectly to W7.

As another option, make the player bar aero, im not sure how difficult that would be but it would match beautifully with windows.

Keep up with the good work though!

Hm, i have really no XP felling on this skin,and like i wrote before the skin based on First screenshots from Win8 and a rainmeter skin called Omnia ,
and the skin is just my interpretation from this impressions!

AeroPlayer is easy to do , but i don't like how the fonts look on aeroplayer ( black color with withe backshadow ) and no way to change them ,
i would prefer white font color!
for my taste the aero player engine need some more improvements!

Well done; it looks very professional. And I know (or can imagine) how much work you must have put into this.

I'm really after a dark skin myself. I think Vision is yours, and it's nearly great but just to dark and certain things don't quite 'work'. Eyal's Helium gDark is my number one at the moment; a bit more usable. But until he tweaks it for mm4 ...

I'm going to use this as I think it's class. So thanks very much. Very very much.
