For some reason the skin does not do anything when I click Abrax under 'skins.' It just looks like the normal Media Monkey...

I'm a newbie to MM.
Can you please tell, how to install the MR and LV plugins?
(They are not .mmip)

First dowload the file(s) to wherever you want to store them.
Create folders for each in their respective locations, ie, MediaMonkey>Scripts>MonkeyRok>Skins or Themes>Abrax
Unzip and extract the respective files to the newly created folders.
All done. Works the same for Song Information Panel, too.

@rrfpacker
Thank you.
The zip files downloaded contain no scripts.
There are only images and style-sheets.
Is it then right to put them into the skin folders?

My bad, I think you are saying you don't have the scripts installed. Go here for Lyrics Viewer
http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ric+viewer

And here for MonkeyRoc (scripts are in alphabetical order).
http://trixmoto.net/mm/search.php?all=scripts

Download the mmip files to your computer to wherever you want to store them. Make sure MM is open and double click on the mmip. Follow the prompts and you should be good to go. AFTER, installing both, do what I said previous to get the skins you want. You can change the skins by going to Tools>Options>MonkeyRok or LyricsViewer. They each have there own menu screen so you just have to play around a bit.

Hope that is what you needed.

Thank you coach for a great skin. Downloaded the CS version and am delighted in how professional (and cool) the skin is compared to the original gold version. Colors are perfect and colored icons stand out just right for visibility. New to MediaMonkey which seemed overwhelming until adding the Abrax skin. Somehow, it just seemed much easier to use giving the product a much more finished look and feel. Definitely, a keeper!!

Thank you,
consul50

For those who are having problems with the MonkeyRok skins, I have the solution. For either the Abrax or AbraxCS MonkeyRok skin, open the file "skin.html" and change line 14 from

Code: Select all

<script type="text/vbscript" src="SkinFunctions.vbs"></script>
to

Code: Select all

<script type="text/vbscript" src="../classic/SkinFunctions.vbs"></script>
and everything should work as intended

Hi guys!

I like the Abrax Skin design very much! I tried almost all skins, but this is still the best!
However, there is still one problem with the low contrast of the fonts in the menu.

Black on gray is almost invisible. Could you tell me how to fix it or can someone of you help me?

Thanks in advance for your reply.
