Skin for Touchscreen @ MM4 & Win7

Post by QBendi »

Hi all,
i search for my new Touchnotebook a MM4 touchsskin in Win7, but can't find any good solutions.
So i started to try to build one by myself.
I use the Mellon Skin.

Goal is a Skin with 2 useable ways.
1. normal view like Mellon with Mousecontrol
2. upright view (90° turned) in 786x1366 with Touchcontrol
I found out that this can be made by the use of PLAYER & Fullscreenplayer or Miniplayer.

Needs:
2-3 bigger buttons/icons (i tryed this, but didnt work)
2-3 thicker scroll/slide-bars (i tryed this, but didnt work)
Font 1,5 times bigger (easy)
Tabbed Colummn-Browser (Genre, Interpret, Album)

I made a ScreenShot to get an idea, but cant upload it here.

If you have some hints or want to help me to build this skin....
...you're very welcome!
greets

when ever you change the width of one item such as scroll bar you need to check all the other image's width's to make sure you got them set right such as the buttons on the scroll bar and then if you change button size on the tool bar you need to adjust the tool bar's size and if it has a background image you must change that too.
it's a lot of work going back and forth getting the right pixel sizes on everything but worth the trouble if you want your own style of skin to fit your home / office decor and you can't find one already make to do that.

in other words it is far easier to make a new skin and fit everything together then just trying to adjust parts of another skin. 8)

with some small changes this could work on

this layout is from the Emulator test skin.

The most elements from the theme / Windows can't made bigger ,
they use standard window size and just can overwrite,
this means scrollbars are just 17 pix wide and rows 18 pix,
they are just a few elements that we can make bigger!

Hi DreadM,
this is a nice Skin and very close to my needs.
Tested it and "touches very good" :-)))
Would you like to create the lacking parts, if i give you a Pic with my ideas?
I could make a set with new icons/buttons by myself, if you tell me the technical criterias.
