This script used to work for me.
I can't get it to work today at all.
The circle sits and spins on the first song and never moves forward.
I thought maybe it was having trouble connecting to the source websites, but I can get to both of them using a browser just fine.
I downloaded and re-installed the script again, then restarted media monkey.
That didn't solve it either.
Any ideas? Is there a logfile I could check?

Could be that there is a problem connecting to the lyrics server. It's running fine for me but I may have the servers configured differently.

Ok, I've got it figured out.
It's working if I run the program from a local hard drive.
It's failing if I launch the program off a network share using UNC path.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Sometimes I get the lyrics from one song duplicated in other songs.

For example:
I highlight tracks 1 through 12 on an album and run Lyricator.
The window shows the correct lyrics for all the tracks.
When I check the lyrics track 3 has the correct lyrics but then tracks 4 through 12 have the same lyrics as track 3.
I run Lyricator a second time on tracks 4 through 12 and then it will find and save the right lyrics.

This is happening pretty consistently.

Other than that this is a great script!

I am having the same problem. It finds all the lyrics but applies only the first result to all selected tracks. If I run it a second time on the same tracks everything is fixed. I've also noticed that this only happens on tracks that don't already have lyrics. I really hope somebody figures out how to fix this or a new version is released that fixes this bug.

I don't remember if this has been discussed before, but an option to skip tracks with existing lyrics would make this script about perfect.

What a magnificent script!! Thanks a lot!!

I've been doing this manually on a couple of hundreds of CD's that I've ripped.. this made things a LOT easier!! (I have to quality-check some, but still!) :D

A question.. (sorry, I have not read the entire thread, but) is it possible to integrate this function when you Right Click!?

Thanks a lot! Again!!

I think the script isn't compatible MM 3.1.0.1202, because everytime i use lyricator on one or more tracks and try to save, i get this error:

after clicking cancel i get this one:

after clicking ok:

I'd use MM 3.1.0.1203, but it doesn't start correctly.

EDIT

Actually this happens with a lot of scripts within the beta, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the script. Sorry for the interruption.

Hm, this script and others are working fine for me in 3.1 beta. Might be something wrong with your installation particularly.

Yes i think so. I tried reinstalling without my additional scripts, but nothing changed. I know that this is the wrong thread for this, so i'llstop posting about my problems here.

I'm having the following problem when running Lyricator Script:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error
Invalid Procedure Call or Argument
Lyricator.vbs, Line 296, Column 1
Then the script just stops working. Any ideas?
