Snarl Support (as alt. to MM popups)

Is there any possibility that someone can develop an alternate for the standard trach change notifications in MM using Snarl.

Theres only 1 topic relating to it, and this was the outcome:

No need to dev anything more MM support VBScript and here is
Snarl Example for VBScript which any Scripter can add to its script.

Theres nothing wrong with the default notifications, Snarl ones seem a bit more prettified though.

Could also offer possibility to have notifications for volume change, and pause, next notifications and such.

Can someone confirm that snarl works with VBScripts? The only reference I could find on the website was to plain VB. Will the commands in the file still work in a VBScript? This may be an obvious question but I'm not much of a programmer.

I checked that but the link is dead which made me think that Snarl can no longer be controlled by VBScripts. I can probably find the answer myself but I just felt like being lazy and asking

It doesn't appear to be directly accessible via VBScript, might require a COM object. I've put it on my list of things to investigate, but it could take a while so hopefully someone else will beat me to it!

a developer has made a plugin for Winamp to support Snarl notifications. As MediaMonkey uses the Plugin-API of Winamp this plugin also works with MediaMonkey. So have a look at http://www.fullphat.net/applications/index.html
