filter for recent additions in the library tree

Post by nscott »

I frequently add a bunch of tracks at a time then can't remember all the names etc. And sometimes they get categorized in unexpected ways. It would be great to have a filter for recent additions in the library tree. The timespan for "recent" could be controllable in options.

thanks,

If you have the Gold version, you can use either a filter or an advanced autoplaylist. If you do not have the Gold version, you can turn on the option to have MM create a playlist for newly added tracks, you can turn it on at Tools - Options -- Library - Tags & Playlists.

you can also use MagicNodes to create a node for recently added as well as recently modified.

Hi,

you could use the playlist for all accessible files / songs, and in the list view add the header column for the Added time stamp then click that header to sort by that order. it will say today or yesturday then start the date for the 3rd day back.

:D

The Last 100 is just what I need. (I'm sure the other ideas work too).
Thanks everyone.
