So Winamp now runs on Android. How about MediaMonkey?

That seems like some nice inspiration for the developers.

Tho they might not have the time to develop something like this at the moment.
Since they're busy working on MM4.

Besides that they would also need to know how to develop for Android. Anyway this has been discussed several times already and the developers are looking into what is possible in syncing with the Android platform.

Sorry if this seems like bumping, but this would be a very awesome feature. :) I love using my phone as my media player and having a monkey portable app would just be amazing.

I have to ask for this too. I'm mostly looking for the ability to play podcasts via my android phone and have it sync back to Media Monkey with a record that it was played so I can easily keep track of what was played.

I came here to ask for this as well as a avid Android OS user, a MM app would be icing on the cake :)

I will bump another onto this list of users wanting Android app. I use my Droid 2 Everyday and right now, the best must app out there imho is Poweramp. If Media Monkey has anything close to that, I would be a very happy lifetime customer :)

I came online to specifically ask this question too. Set us free from iTunes man. I know a developer who can do it if you need the help, regardless, just do it.........NOW.

Here's another vote for an Android app. I use MixZing on a Samsung Galaxy S Captivate and playlists are awkward.

It's obvious Ventis isn't going to release this, nor get to MM4, quite disappointing. The best music app I found for Android was PowerAmp
