Hi, I also have the problem that my MM version does not see my ipod Touch 4th Gen. Already tried the beta plugin mentioned in this thread. I don't have iTunes installed and would like to avoid it if possible. I have the MM version 3.2.5.1306 (German) on my computer. Couple of questions come to my mind:
  • Does the iphone.dll plugin work with this version?
Do I need to reinstall MM in order for the plugin to work (read this in one post)?
Would the new MM 4 Beta version help solve this problem in terms of support for ipod touch 4th Gen?
Thanks for any hints.

Sorry, but not possible. You must have itunes installed or MM will not be able to communicate with the device. This is the way that the iPod touch/iPhone/iPad were designed.
