Re: Android App
just got an android phone (HTC Inspire) and love it, can mount all my music on it, but would REALLY love it read all my MM classification/rating data to sort, build playlists etc. What are the chances this will ever roll out?

Re: Android App
I would like a mm-App with MP3-tag editing function.
Our family owns 3 droids and one iPhone (having a lot of problems with sync - each IOS update is a risk).

Re: Android App
I would like to use media monkey mobile on my android to maintain the library. With iTunes or winamp or with an iPod you only can rate your song. But I also like to change the genre, album title, year of the song, comment, ... and then synchronize it with my local library at home when I'm back. It would be great to maintain the library "on the go" while listening to the songs. It is sometimes no fun, doing that at home while the sun is shining outside...
Please develop an app for it, I would likle to pay for it!

Re: Android App
I would also like to request this. A mobile app. Awesomeness. I would donate to a app I know you guys are working on and will continue to support. We are here, there is a need and want. Is there an ETA?
My mediaplayer experience from android hasn't been solid with the basics. Still buggy. Dont get me started with google music! They think they know what music I like by adding music to my library that has no relation to the music I would listen to. But they have no front and center play button in the app or lock screen OR drop down notifications.
I recently contacted Doubletwist. I would rather stick with MediaMOnkey though.
This was my q:
Does your android app have mark for deletion like an mp3 player (I believe itunes does this)?
User would be able to mark a file for deletion on the computer/delete the file from playlists, folders etc. This would prevent double work. Basically a database sync feature.
Doubletwist and Mediamonkey type sync features is what im looking for. What's the point of editing tags on your mobile if the file on your computer is still untagged? Seems like some tedious work.
---
They responded with
"There isn't a way to mark files for deletion on the Android app. You can remove a song from the computer library and this will remove it from all playlists (you can also optionally move the file to the trash). Upon next sync, the file will then be deleted from your Android device.
There currently isn't a way to edit metadata on the Android app. We are looking into implementing this as some users have requested this ability."

My tech details
Type of device: HTC Desire HD and HTC Evo
Android version: Ice Cream Sandwhich
Connection/OS:
USB/Windows 7
My point is, it's good to start somewhere. Have the basics down first please. But have features other players dont have-- just like the desktop version.

Re: Android App
I have an android tablet that i'm on daily and and i list to a lot of my music on it i've used MM for a long time on my laptop and liked it funcionality. Now that i have a tablet it would be nice to have a player that syncs with MM on my laptop to change the content i have and still give me a lot of the same funtions as the desktop version.
