Playing MMA music through different device

Post by bonzo728 »

Sorry, I don't know if this has already been brought up or explained. I just got MMA and was able to connect to my MMW library using the upnp/dlna server. The music plays back fine on my phone but I was wondering if there was a way to play the music through another upnp/dlna device, like a blu-ray player, smart tv, etc. I am assuming the other device would have to have bluetooth but I figured I would double check. Thanks.

You can't use MMA as control point between MMW server (or it's own Library) and a DLNA client. This is on the future feature list though. You can however play from MMA (including streaming from a DLNA server) over bluetooth to a bluetooth capable speaker.
