how to remove the confirmation pop-up when adding art?

Post by jpottsx1 »

I am running the latest MM 4.0x and I'm going crazy as I try to use the auto tag from the web feature.

Q. how to remove the confirmation pop-up when adding art?

I've looked everywhere and cannot find a way to turn the confirmation for saving artwork off. I want it to save into the file and the folder everytime . . .no need to ask everytime.

Please help!

I was new to this artwork adding stuff until recently, and I'm not sure I know which pop-up window you mean. But if it's the one I've illustrated then my understanding is that it allows you to choose which of the two options you want to apply to the selected track(s):
External file OR Embedded.

BTW, as mentioned in my post a few days ago, somewhat non-intuitively, the option actually used is not necessarily the one selected, it's always the top one.

The 'method' option shown under Tools > Options > Library > Tags & Playlists > Artwork > Image location is always applied consistently here, if that's what you meant?

The OP is talking about the "Auto-Tag From Web" image confirmation. The location you provided is related, but setting it doesn't keep the confirmation from popping up. It's also not in the confirmations dialog in the options. I am waiting for an answer to this myself. I can't remember if there is a way to do that. I never really bothered with trying to get rid of it. :-?

Hey nohitts,
In your opinion, do you think it's possible to code?
