Re: Strange sound while listening to a music
Disable Play > Level Playback Volume in the main menu. Does it still sound bad?

Re: Strange sound while listening to a music
Hi,
Try to disable Play -> Level Playback volume and play the track again?
There is possibility that Gain index is in specific format for other apps that in MMW interpret like clipping.

Re: Strange sound while listening to a music
An alternative method to do this is from Tools > Options > Volume Leveling and disabling Level Playback volume to.

That means that either you set a value to high (it shouldn't be over 95dB, default is 89dB) or that the Volume level stored in the tag is wrong (known issue with Amazon downloads), which can be fixed by re-analyzing the files (disable the option to only do this for unknown values).
