1/2 star Ratings in Android Auto

Hopefully I'm not posting something already posted elsewhere...

Please add 1/2 star rating support in Android Auto (i.e. 3.5, 4.5).

Idk about anyone else but I use 1/2 star ratings very frequently and it's frustrating that they're not supported in MM for Android Auto.

Hi Chris,

We set it to full stars because otherwise it could be very difficult to change ratings in AA (too many button presses required and that's not great if you're driving).

Anyone else have thoughts one way or the other on this?

I don't use 1/2 star, 5 star ratings is sufficient. However maybe a long press on 3 star allows user to select 3 or 2 1/2 star? A normal press would do 3 stars.

On Rating. Where if you long press 3 stars it would either convert to a 2 1/2 star (or 3 1/2 star) or it would then popup the option to select full/half star.

Maybe if possible Show Left/right arrows to move finger where to apply 1/2 star?

I would prefer if the stars were simply displayed the way they are on the Android app, so I could both see and set the rating easily, by tapping the correct star. One tap, almost every time (sometimes it's hard to hit that half-star right).

I know the horizontal line of stars across the top would probably be too much visually, but maybe a vertical line at the right margin?
