[SOLVED] Sync keeps freezing

I am trying to transfer files to my Samsung J5 phone using a USB cable (specifically to the SD card, but I have no luck syncing to the phone itself either). Nine times out of ten the sync fails, saying the process has frozen, and I should try again or try syncing using Wifi which I can't do. Sometimes if I send 1-2 tracks over the process works, but even that is no guarantee.

Any help would be gratefully received! Thank you.
