Miniplayer - Force other windows to respect player's docked position

Post by e2140 »

In windows 10, I don't see a way to get other application windows to respect the Miniplayer's docked presence at a screen border like the Windows taskbar gets. Regardless where the Miniplayer is docked at a screen border, other windows underlay it when they are maximized or otherwise automatically expanded (e.g. Win-key + left/right arrow to throw an application window to fill either the left or right 50% of the screen). This means that all other windows must be manually moved and dimensioned around the Miniplayer and keyboard quick-positioning shortcuts cannot be used at all; not a practical solution.

With most applications embracing a thin and minimalist UI design, the Miniplayer ends up blocking top menu/Tab bars, bottom Status bars or side Scroll bars. This kind of makes the Miniplayer useless as it must constantly be moved around the screen.

Hi,
Why don't you enable MediaMonkey Micro Player in Taskbar Toolbars and Minimize to Micro Player instead of Mini player?
